We're Looking For Interns!




We have so much going on in our Richmond Studio! So much so that we are looking for new energy and support for our work! Interns play a key role in helping us further what we do as a company and in expanding our ability to fulfill our mission: to invest in marriages by throwing kick-ass events!


We have a need for three interns. The internships are all very different so please read through them and see if your skills and interests match our needs feel free to apply! Internships and Responsibilities 

PROJECT MANAGER/ASSISTANT
Compensation: Non-paid; Credit is applicable with the possibility of a permanent position. Commission available.

Responsibilities:
Attend weekly staff meetings. 

Includes producing and styling beautiful clean images.
Oversee calendar and organize staff schedules and ensure deadlines are met
.
Prepare and send client care packages.
Create timeline to do lists for clients.

Create venue layouts.

Create vendor packets.

Assist at weddings with set up, tear down, and coordination
 Assist with client customer service
Attend events as part of the ZED team. 

CREATIVE ASSISTANT
Compensation: Non-paid; Credit is applicable with the possibility of a permanent position.Commission available.

Responsibilities:

Attend weekly staff meetings.

Growing and engaging followers on Facebook, Pinterest Twitter and Instagram
Creating captivating content for all social media outlets to increase pinning, tweeting and sharing.
Execute style shoots
 and manage vendors.

Create call sheets
.
Create shoot list.

Submit to blogs with proper credits and content
.

Help maintain ZED blog

Assist with internal events and classes.

Assist at weddings with set up, tear down, and coordination
 Attend events as part of the ZED team 

FLORAL ASSISTANT
Compensation: Non-paid; Credit is applicable with the possibility of a permanent position. Commission available.

Responsibilities:
Attend weekly staff meetings
.
Prepare supplies, tools, and containers for weekly events.

Assist in creating bouquets, centerpieces, garlands, etc.
 
Assist in deliveries, setups, and strikes.

Source images for client mood boards.

Assist in customer service
.
Catalog client photos for portfolio.

Attend events as part of the ZED team.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a career in the hospitality industry/ floral industry with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office, and Photoshop. The intern must have all their own equipment including computer (Mac), software, and car. We are looking for someone who will be a self-initiator with real attention to detail and an artistic eye. The intern must be able to work out of our office 20 hours a week.

Internship Details:
Internship terms generally begin in September, and March.
Internships are 5-6 months in length, depending on season.
Internship applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Internships are unpaid but receive 10% of all client contracts they provide. 

Internships are part time (20-25 hrs/week).

**College credit is available and recommended for the internship. We suggest that you start talking with your school advisor now about the steps necessary for this. We are more than willing to fill out the needed paperwork to ensure that you get academic credit for your work with us.
